Hello! I am a yoga teacher, yoga therapist and mindfulness facilitator and I work with a trauma informed lens.

I was introduced to yoga in my late 20s when I was experiencing challenges with my own mental health. Over the following years, I learnt first hand the healing, grounding nature of yoga, and it has been my touchstone ever since.

Knowing how yoga had helped me with my own mental health, I continued to investigate the growing science that supported yoga and its ability to heal, and further trained as a yoga therapist with The Minded Institute.

During the training I was introduced Mindfulness based practices. Meditation had previously been a bit of a challenge for me, a mystery even! Learning about Mindfulness though was a bit of a lightbulb moment for me, and I am eternally grateful that I came across this wonderful, and for me, life changing practice.

I have since studied how to teach mindfulness based practices and I embody this in my teaching style.

Over the years, I have worked with individuals, taught in studios, schools, businesses and Hospitals, and volunteered with local mental health charities such as Mind and ReThink.

The common thread is that we all wish to be well. I believe that Yoga and Mindfulness has the ability to meet people where they are, and can become a lifestyle choice that brings us back into contact with our true nature.
