The use of the techniques of Yoga to create, stimulate, and maintain an optimum state of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.

  • Have you noticed that the body and mind are connected? Have you noticed for example, that if you are worried, or anxious, it can affect your physical body? Perhaps you get a headache, or your chest feels tight, or you feel a bit light headed. Often, stress can show up in our body as physical symptoms. Conversely, we may have a physical symptom that in turn affects our mood, perhaps because of chronic pain, or that we find our lifestyle changes in some way, and we are not able to do the things we used to.
  • A Yoga Therapy session is by its very nature prescriptive, and holistic. One size does not fit all. Yoga is suitable for all ages and abilities. It is my job as a yoga therapist to get to know you and create a plan, so that you can take your practise into your daily life, and really utilise the skills you learn in your sessions.
  • I have a special interest in mental health and welcome enquiries from anyone looking to improve their wellbeing. Please do not hesitate to contact me for an informal chat.
